A Bit About Me
I wrote my first poem when I was in the fourth grade. It was years before I wrote another one. In my adult years, I found that my only relief from the pain of life's trials was to simply write what I was feeling. As I began to reluctantly share my writings with co-workers and friends, I was pleasantly surprised at the positive response. It didn't take much longer for me to realize that I was not just writing about my problems and what I was experiencing, but I was a Poet. It’s not enough to have an awesome worship experience inside the confines of the church building but still live in defeat and quite a bit of confusion and lack of understanding when we leave. A lot of us know more about how to live, function, behave and survive in church than we do outside of those walls, and that’s not the will of God for us.
